Autogas to Play Larger Role in Europe’s Fuel Mix

27th January 2011: The European Expert Group on Transport Fuels, established by the European Commission last March, has highlighted that automotive LPG, also known as Autogas, could move from 3% of the road transport fuel mix today to 10% by 2020.

EUROPE’S FILLING STATIONS NEED CLEANING: NO TOP MARKS IN NEW EUROTEST

How do Europe’s motorway filling stations compare? Are motorists offered adequate services and
charged fair prices for petrol and goods? Are we paying too much for petrol on motorways? Do filling
stations meet basic sanitary standards? To answer these questions EuroTest experts inspected 77
motorway filling stations along the most important European travel routes.

European Postal Operators Exceeding Emission Targets

PostEurop published the "2010 Environmental Report" announcing that from 2007 to 2009; the 16 European Postal Operators  participating in the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Programme recorded a total reduction of 465 thousand tonnes of CO2 collectively.  This is a 15% reduction from 2007 to date, in which 2009 alone records a 13% reduction in emission.
