Despite the fact that previous year event was conducted for the first time, it gathered about 300 participants from more than 10 countries. It indicates the urgency of discussed issues and necessity of constant dialogue between main market players. All this motivated organizers – “European-Ukrainian Energy Agency” EUEA Association and Conference House Company to make this Event annual.

The project goal is to discuss priorities for balanced policy in sphere of energy saving and development of alternative energy in Ukraine. The following issues will be considered:
•    Ukrainian government strategy plan of promotion the energy saving and diversification of energy production.
•    Priorities of new Ukrainian energy strategy in international society’s eyes.   
•    Joining the Energy Community: impact on the renewable energy market in Ukraine.
•    Energy efficiency as a strategy priority of energy security.  
•    Financing of bioenergy projects.
•    Financing of “green” energy projects – structure and basic requirements. Succesfull schemes of projects funding in Ukraine.
•    And many others.

In addition to panel meetings, two Case studies are included to the Agenda: Energy efficiency (moderator Mr. Tore Emanuelsson, Head of representation in Ukraine, European Investment Bank) and alternative energy (moderator Dr. Ralf Walther, Project Manager, Ukraine Sustainable Energy Lending Facility (USELF).

Within the framework of the Second European-Ukrainian energy Day it is expected the address of government representatives, who are in charge on development of energy sector in Ukraine and international experts.
