It is with great sadness that we at the European Society of Endocrinology (ESE) are watching the development of the war in Ukraine. We stand in solidarity with those members of our communities, healthcare professionals, researchers, and patients as well as all people from Ukraine impacted by the invasion of the Russian army. ESE promotes endocrine health, research, science, and education among professionals and patients across Europe and beyond.

Representing more than 80,000 mental health care professionals all over Europe, including Ukraine and Russia, we remain as a medical association apolitical and neutral, but strongly condemn the use of violence and the act of war to solve political or other disputes.
