“Organic wine”: European experts hold discussions in Brussels on the challenges and opportunities facing this new product and on the standards with which it will have to
comply.

As  of  2010,  consumers  will  be  able  to  buy  ‘organic  wine’.  European  legislation  on  organic farming will include the product for the first time. Currently, consumers can purchase wines with the designation ‘wine produced from organic grapes’.

BRUSSELS,  3 November 2008 - The European automotive industry is strongly concerned  about  the  prospective  highly unbalanced outcome of the free trade  agreement  (FTA)  with  South  Korea. The negotiations between the European  Commission  and  South  Korea,  that have resumed today and are entering  into  their  final phase, do not respect the basic principle of mutual  benefit, offering a disproportionate competitive advantage to the Korean auto industry when exporting to the EU.

A  new  European  Standard  will  define  comprehensive  requirements  for ‘sheltered-housing’  services.  The  kick-off  meeting  for  the  Project Committee took place 31 October 2008 in Vienna.

aging of society, puts new demands on housing for the elderly. However, due to
