The new European platform for replacement reserves has been launched on 6 January by Transmission System Operators (TSOs) from eight countries: Czech Republic (ČEPS a.s), United Kingdom (National Grid ESO), Poland (Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne S.A.), Spain (Red Eléctrica de España S.A.U.), Portugal (REN – Rede Eléctrica Nacional, S.A), France (Réseau de Transport d’Electricité), Switzerland (Swissgrid AG) and Italy (Terna-Rete Elettrica Nazionale SpA).

ACCA announces pass rates for December 2019 exam sitting

ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) today announces results for the last exam sitting of 2019.

This saw over 137,000 students around the world entering over 173,000 exams. A total of 4,659 students completed their final exams to become ACCA affiliates.

PES delegation supports Demirtaş at hearing in Turkey

A PES delegation led by Deputy Secretary-General Giacomo Filibeck attended the hearing of Selahattin Demirtaş at the Sincan prison in Ankara today.

At the time of his detention in 2016, Demirtaş was the Co-Chair of the PES associate party Halkların Demokratik Partisi (HDP).
