The European Parliament's development committee today adopted a report by Green rapporteur/draftsperson Catherine Grèze on the intellectual property rights of genetic resources in developing countries. Commenting after the vote Catherine Grèze said:

3rd annual IAB Europe CEO Outreach seeks to address concerns of European online companies 
 
Brussels 5th December 2012 – An IAB Europe delegation of CEO's from nine leading European online companies have converged in Brussels on 5-6 December for a series of meetings with high-level policy makers, including Cabinet members of Vice President of the European Commission, Neelie Kroes.

“As the European Commissioners responsible for shepherding Europe into an ever-changing dynamic business environment gather for an orientation debate on copyright, it is vital that the European consumer is not left behind. Blind to technology, today’s consumers demand access to the best content available. How or where content is accessed have never mattered less as long as it is easily available when and where the consumer wants it.
