Relaunch of social dialogue in the gas sector: addressing uncertainties is imperative for gas sector workers

Today the European trade union federations, industriAll European Trade Union and EPSU, and industry association Eurogas officially relaunched their European Social Dialogue in the gas sector. The Social Partners adopted their Work Programme for the two years ahead, with the key focus on the role of gas in a decarbonised European economy and the impact of the energy transition on workers in the European Gas Industry.

EVA CELEBRATES 25 YEARS

200 participants from the European vending and OCS industry convened in Baveno, Italy on 16^th and 17^th October to celebrate the 25^th Anniversary of the EVA.

The charming town of Baveno, on the shores of Lake Maggiore, played host to a two-day celebration of the 25^th Anniversary of the European Vending & Coffee Service Association (EVA), founded in 1994 in Brussels.

During a meeting held in Düsseldorf at the K trade show, the three Presidents of the European plastics industry associations, Renato Zelcher (European Plastics Converters), Javier Constante (PlasticsEurope) and Ton Emans (Plastic Recyclers Europe), agreed to oppose the Italian Government’s tax proposal of 1000 € per ton of plastic packaging.
