U.S. Executive Order on De Minimis to Affect Global Postal Shipments from 29 August 2025

PostEurop and its Members are closely following the developments around the U.S. Executive Order “Suspending duty-free de minimis treatment for all countries” on postal goods shipped to the USA1. PostEurop members are working very hard on solutions to ensure that postal goods shipping to the USA can continue for both business and private customers, considering also the importance of guaranteeing the Universal Postal Service.

New research reveals urgent need for consistency in accounting for carbon-related instruments

With no IFRS Accounting Standard dedicated to accounting for carbon-related instruments, a new global study by ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)and the Adam Smith Business School at the University of Glasgow reveals the growing complexity and diversity in how companies account for these instruments,  and the consequences for various stakeholders in the corporate reporting ecosystem. The study, Reality of accounting for carbon-related instruments, analyses the annual reports of 300 companies in high-emitting sectors across the globe.

Hours: Full time (09:00-18:00). Work outside of these hours may be required depending on the agenda, for which time off in lieu will be given.
