This is the message the Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament want to convey to the European leaders, through the motion for resolution on ´the consequences of drought, fire, and other extreme weather phenomena: increasing EU’s efforts to fight climate change´.

Forced adoption of Ukrainian children to Russia is a crime against humanity. It must be stopped!

Since Russia launched its war of aggression against Ukraine, at least 1 million Ukrainians* have been deported to the Russian Federation and the occupied territories of Ukraine. Among them, thousands of innocent Ukrainian children have been abducted by Russian forces to be adopted to Russian families. This is a clear violation of human rights and international law, including the Geneva Convention and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
