Brussels. A new regulation revising the harmonised rules for maximum residue limits (MRLs) of plant protection products for food and animal feed has  come into force this September. COPA and COGECA welcome this new legislation, confident that it constitutes a foundation for improving consumer confidence in the EU way of producing food. They also welcome the fact that this legislation will apply to imported products, too.
