MEP Cornelia Ernst will visit Lampedusa

This weekend, German MEP Cornelia Ernst, who is in her work focused on migration policies, is going to visit the island of Lampedusa, where outside of public attention still hundreds of migrants from Northern Africa are arriving on a regular basis. There, she is going to meet with representatives of intergovernmental and non-governmental organisations and is going to visit, inter alia, the detention centre, to see the conditions under which migrants are being held.
