"High efficiency heat pump systems – practice to mainstream"

On Thursday 14.4.2011 from 14:00 to 18:00, the European Heat Pump
Association organizes an event on efficient heat pump systems. A
selected group of high-level speakers will discuss influencing factors
of the design and installation of efficient heat pump systems . The
event will also present results from an ongoing project on the
development of a standard for field measurements. Results from initial
measurements will be presented.

The final panel discussion will open the floor to debate – the key
question to be answered is: are heat pumps sufficiently recognized as a
technology that can deliver significant energy and emission savings in
Europe? The event will take place in the Sicco Mansholt room of the
Charlemagne building (ground floor). Prior registration is needed.

Following this event, EHPA will announce the winner of the newly
inaugurated “Heat pump city of the year” award. This award is created
to showcase successful support efforts towards a more widespread use
of heat pump technology in cities and regions. The EHPA invites the
interested audience to join us for a reception after the award ceremony.
