GUE/NGL study days in Nicosia, Cyprus

Members of the European Parliament from the European United Left/Nordic Green Left group will meet for the group's Study Days in Nicosia, Cyprus from 12 to 14 October next.

Discussions will focus on four main themes:

- the Cyprus problem

- Palestine: the role of the EU

- 10 years after the United Nations Declaration, state of play on the Millennium   Development Objectives

- the situation in  Iran

On Tuesday, MEPs will be received by the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Demetris Christofias.
