Brussels, 28-30 November ’18 - Scientists, researchers, key industry leaders, socio-economic players and policymakers from all over the world will be discussing how to deploy technological in-novations on a large scale in order to achieve the climate and sustainable development goals. This involves ready to be marketed solutions relating to circular economy, health, agroecology for sus-tainable food systems, energy-positive communities, education, geospatial data, and smart (waste) water management.

During the industry night on November 29th (6 pm - 10 pm) we will focus on the SDGs as a business opportunity. For this companies will have to cooperate across sectors and start out from the circular economy model, where smart production and ICT technologies are of vital importance for reusing as many materials as possible.

  • CO2 as a resource: -“Turning CO2 in valuable resources", by Dirk Fransaer, Managing Director VITO
    - "Sustainability and carbon offsetting during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar”, by Shasi Prakash, Sustainability and Carbon Expert, Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy
