
Eurima maintains high-level Climate & Energy expertise by welcoming Femke de Jong

Eurima, the European Insulation Manufacturers Association, is proud to announce the reinforcement of its team with Femke de Jong as Climate & Energy Manager.

Graduated in Econometrics, Femke de Jong has over a decade of experience in climate, energy and environmental policies in consultancy, politics and the non-profit sector. She worked for almost five years at Carbon Market Watch as the organisation's policy director. Before that, she was a political advisor in the European Parliament and a researcher at environmental consultancy CE Delft.
Femke will be responsible for all the Climate & Energy related topics within the multidisciplinary Eurima-staff relating to energy efficiency first, energy efficiency in buildings, building renovation, the implementation of the Clean Energy for All Europeans Package, Long Term Climate & Energy Strategies, EU-ETS and the support of and cooperation in Eurima’s partners & allies network.
“Femke’s robust educational background and profound experience in Environment, Climate and Energy policy-making and socio-economic impact assessment will allow Eurima to reinforce both its scientific research base and its contribution as a reliable stakeholder” said Jan te Bos, Director General, and continued: “We cannot wait for Femke to start on 25 March!”
