Who we are
Also informally known as the UN for entrepreneurs, with its recent headquarters in Brussels, Entreps was born back in 2010 in Boston MA as an umbrella organisation gathering together through our activities and initiatives influential personalities - such as Bill Clinton, Michael Lee, Vicente Fox, Mariya Gabriel, Innocentia Motau. Since 2017 our Ambassador before the European Institutions is Mr. Markku Markkula, former President and recent 1st VicePresident of the European Committee of the Regions.
Over time we have collaborated with cutting-edge institutions and firms like LinkedIn, the College of Europe, Apple, TEDx, the European Commission, Harvard Business School, the European Parliament, Nokia, British Airways and EURADA, but also with organisations of start-ups, SMEs and entrepreneurs from five continents.
The Entreps' motto is 'looking beyond the horizon for a better future' for what we raise our hand beyond our eyes to scan the horizon. Our Entreps Award, our Statue represent the pioneer we all have inside breaking the hatch with his/her open palm above the eyes searching the distance, always open to explore innovative routes.
Our Magna Carta and the Santander Global Agreement are two key documents setting what we are, our original principles and goals, and the recent initiatives we promote. Since 2015 we have also added innovation and digitization, the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the empowerment of citizens to our commitments to society.
