ECEG: General Assembly elects Yves Verschueren as new President

Yves Verschueren, essenscia Belgium, was elected President of ECEG (European Chemical Employers Group) during its General Assembly meeting in Brussels on 12 December 2016. In this position he succeeds Stephen Elliott of CIA (Chemical Industries Association), UK.

Currently Managing Director of essenscia, the Belgian federation of chemical and life sciences industries, Yves Verschueren had several responsibilities within the company Unilever, in Belgium and in foreign countries: Switzerland, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi and Italy, including the responsibility as SVP Home Care Europe in Brussels and Chairman of Unilever Belgium. He is Member of the Board of VBO-FEB (Federation of Enterprises in Belgium) and Member of the Board of Centre Antipoisons.
