(Brussels - 31 March, 2011): Cable Europe Labs disclosed today new products that passed the rigorous testing programme of the Euro Cable Certification Board. Euro-DOCSIS cable modems, cable modem termination systems (CMTSs), and set-top boxes are fundamental for the development and improvement of broadband services, guarantying their functionality is essential.

EuroDOCSIS 2.0 Cable Modem in a DVB-C Set Top Box
Euro DOCSIS 3.0 Voice Modem (EMTA) provides high-speed Internet access and up to two lines of voice-over-IP (VoIP) telephone service over cable’s broadband connection, all bundled into one single device. The Set Top Box is crucial in receiving the latest digital TV services via digital cable service.
Cable Europe Labs certifications are granted following precise testing techniques in the specialised technology labs of Excentis in Ghent, Belgium.
