In view of the catastrophic situation facing EU dairy farmers, EU farm leaders would like to invite you to a press conference on October 5 at Residence Palace at 13.00 h to discuss measures to help alleviate the drastic market situation. This will be followed by a buffet lunch.

Copa-Cogeca argues that the crisis in the dairy sector is causing major income losses for farmers, causing many of them to go out of business. Copa-Cogeca consequently calls on EU Agriculture Ministers to give their full support to measures aimed at alleviating the current crisis. We need strong market measures and we need them now.
