The annual Council of the PES adopted three major resolutions:

on the process for selecting a common candidate for the 2019 European elections [1], including a commitment to an open and transparent process possibly including primaries if there is more than one candidate;
on the future of Europe [2] and the PES political platform;
- 40 key measures adopted by the council [3]
on political prisoners in Turkey [4].
