Simona Amati joins Kreab Gavin Anderson in Brussels as Director focusing on Economics and Financial Services Policy. She has over ten years of European affairs experience.
Before joining Kreab Gavin Anderson, Simona worked at the Central Bank of Luxembourg and the European Central Bank as coordinator and adviser on economic and financial services affairs, with a particular focus on market infrastructure, crisis management and international standard setting.
Simona was member of various central bank committees and chaired the Eurosystem Working Group on market infrastructure development. Earlier in her career, Simona served as an economist at the European Parliament’s Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee.
Besides her Italian mother tongue, she speaks English, French, German and Spanish.
