Brussels (30 October 2009) - CEN (the European Committee for Standardization) and CENELEC (the European Electrotechnical Committee for Standardization) are pleased to announce that their respective Administrative Boards have appointed Mrs Elena Santiago Cid as common Director General of CEN and CENELEC. Mrs Santiago’s appointment is effective 1 January 2010.
