The event is part of the European VINIoT project and aims to create a networking opportunity for the precision viticulture professionals.  

Santiago de Compostela, 24th January 2023. On the 9th of February 2023, the European innovation project VINIoT-after 3 years in operation- will celebrate at the FEUGA headquarters in Santiago de Compostela (Campus Vida) its final project event with an open fair for the sector. The project, funded by the Interreg SUDOE programme, is focused on a precision viticulture service based on an IoT sensor network for the digital transformation of SMEs in the SUDOE area. The main innovation of the service is the fusion of the two main technologies that have always been used independently in vineyard monitoring: multispectral imaging and soil sensing. 

The presentation of the results obtained will be followed by two round tables focused on the sustainability of the VINIoT service. One of them will offer an approach from the wine sector, which will feature regional experts and a second one focused on the point of view of the transfer led by the European Digital Innovation HUBS (EDIHs).

VINIoT HUB Fair 

The organisation invites projects and initiatives related to precision viticulture to actively participate in its final event. Interested parties will be able to promote themselves free of charge in different ways by means of posters, stands, flash talks and/or by exhibiting informative materials.
