Speakers included Maria Teresa Scardigli, vice president, Kellen Europe, and Seppo Nurmi, counselor, deputy head of trade section, Delegation of the European Commission.  Over 60 association executives from across the United States participated in the conference which addressed issues, including the first year of operations of the new European Parliament, the new College of Commissioners, and the European Council’s newly adopted Europe 2020: Strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth, a framework for implementing new initiatives and policies to advance the EU’s growth potential.
