French and European socialist leaders launch together their first citizen’s conference on Europe this Friday in Paris.

Less than a year before the next European elections, Social Democrat leader Udo Bullmann, Socialist Party Prime Minister Olivier Faure and French Socialists' President Christine Revault  d’Allonnes de Bonnefoy are launching a citizen’s conference on Friday, June 29 in Paris, on the theme "The Europe of Tomorrow; It’s Left". Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sanchez, will kick off this major European event to be held at Cirque d'Hiver from 18:00.
 
The debates of this #Europe Together event - sponsored by the Group of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament will focus in particular on the contribution of cities to the ecological transition, well-being of citizens and on the green jobs of tomorrow http://www.europe-together.eu/event/europe-tomorrow-left/.
 
Many mayors including Anne Hidalgo (Paris), Paul Magnette (Charleroi), Stéphane Le Foll (Le Mans), Daniël Termont (Ghent), Christophe Rouillon (Coulaines) will be in attendance. European socialist leaders, including PES President Sergei Stanishev and European Commissioner for Economic and Monetary Affairs Pierre Moscovici and several vice-presidents of the S&D Group - Kathleen van Brempt, Maria Joao Rodrigues and Eric Andrieu - as well as vice-president of the European Parliament Sylvie Guillaume will also be present to animate the debates.

A joint press conference bringing together Pedro Sanchez, Olivier Faure, Udo Bullmann and Christine Revault  d’Allonnes de Bonnefoy will be organised at 18:15 - Bar of the Empress - Circus d'Hiver - 110 Rue d'Amelot - 75011 Paris.
