Felicia Emery appointed EBTN Executive Manager

EBTN - The European Banking & Financial Services Training Association, the Brussels-based united voice of providers of professional training and education in banking, appointed Mrs. Felicia Emery MBA as its new Executive Manager. Mrs. Emery succeeds Mr. Koen Venekamp MSc who has served as EBTN’s General Secretary since 2011, and continued his career as consultant in strategic communications and corporate reputation management.
Mr. Colin Morrison, Deputy Chief Executive of the Chartered Banker Institute and EBTN’s Presidentelect said: “I am delighted to have secured the services of Felicia Emery and I am sure she will make a very valuable contribution to the work of EBTN going forward”.
In her role as EBTN Executive Manager Mrs. Emery will support the President of EBTN and the Executive Committee in representing and advocating for EBTN with relevant stakeholders with the primary aim of achieving EBTN’s strategic objectives.
Previously Mrs. Emery worked in the USA, Greece and Belgium for Pratt & Whitney, an aerospace manufacturer with global service operations. Before she taught Accounting and Finance at Westwood College (Georgia USA), held various management positions at BellSouth Telecommunications (Georgia USA) and worked as Relationship Management Associate at PNC Bank (Pennsylvania USA).
Mrs. Emery holds a Bachelor of Science-Finance degree (Tuskegee University, Alabama USA) and a Master of Business Administration (Clark Atlanta University, Georgia USA). She is married and lives in Belgium.
