FEFCO’s 15th Technical Seminar

For the first time ever, FEFCO’s 15th Technical Seminar will be held at the Estrel Convention Center in Berlin

Brussels, 26 November 2008 - FEFCO (European Federation of Corrugated Board Manufacturers) is pleased to

announce that its forthcoming Technical Seminar will be held at the Estrel Convention Centre in Berlin,

Germany from 6 to 8 May 2009 after 14th successful editions in Nice (France).

This is the first edition of our Technical Seminar in Berlin, a city famous for its accessibility to visitors

coming from all over Europe. Offering many facilities under the same roof, such as a hotel, a convention centre

and restaurants, the Estrel Convention Center will encourage delegates to take advantage of networking

opportunities.

FEFCO is not only confident that this new location will live up to the increasing demands of our industry, but

also convinced that this new multi-functional exhibition venue will provide our delegates and exhibitors with the

very best of modern facilities with optimum flexibility.

Over the years, the Technical Seminar has become the number one platform for the Corrugated Industry, and the only

conference and trade show for the European Corrugated Industry bringing together buyers and suppliers of corrugated

packaging machinery, equipment and services. FEFCO’s Technical Seminar is now one of the best platforms to promote

technical solutions related to the production of corrugated board and packaging.

For this 2009 edition, the Production Committee has taken into account the delegates’ needs, and has decided to

refocus the content of the conference programme on production and technical oriented topics.

The 2009 conference will cover four main themes: Corrugated Process and Raw Materials, Energy, Printing, and

Corrugating Process Control.  All of these subjects are of great importance to corrugated board manufacturers

and are also a priority to the development of our industry. We look forward to contributions from major players

and from established experts in their field. We are confident that this interesting and forward-looking programme

will attract delegates from corrugated board manufacturers all over Europe, and we look forward to your valued

participation.
