EurActiv 'Special Report' on Rural Energy

EurActiv, the leading online media reporting on EU affairs and policy issues, will run special coverage, from 19 to 23 September, on Rural Energy. In this Special Report, EurActiv journalists will report on energy issues and challenges in Europe's rural areas.

Other topics include the Ecofys report on rural energy in Europe (to be launched on Rural Energy Day – 21 September), the access to energy in rural areas, the possibility of switching to lower carbon sources in rural communities and last but not least, rural infrastructure, grid connectivity and access to reasonably priced energy in rural areas.
