The knowledge programme of EURACTIV for EU communications, reaches the 10-year milestone.

Since 1999, EURACTIV has aimed to give a voice to all EU stakeholders, enabling them to be seen as an integral part of the EU policymaking process.  In order to better understand EU advocacy and communications, EURACTIV also established a `knowledge programme` known as `Yellow Academy`.

Yellow Academy has been offering a unique collaborative program on the new trends in EU communications and advocacy in Brussels. The trainers have been selected from the leading consultancies in Brussels to spark vibrant debate. Participants are EURACTIV’S partners coming from trade associations, NGOs, and think-tanks.

"Hands-on experience in dealing with complex legislative challenges of the EU is the cornerstone of our Yellow Academy" said Goksen Caliskan, EU Advocacy Director at EURACTIV and she continued:

"We are proud to mark the 10th Anniversary of Yellow Academy. We would not have come this far without the unwavering contribution from the best consultancies and our participants. We see this programme as a celebration of new ideas and an opportunity to carve out innovative and creative solutions for the challenges that the EU Stakeholders face."

Each year EURACTIV works closely with the leading consultancies in Brussels to identify new topics that are relevant to the daily working life of European trade associations, NGOs, and think-tanks.

"Over the last 10 years, Yellow Academy has hosted 65 sessions with more than 1000 participants. It is a great opportunity not only to learn the latest trends from experts but also exchange knowledge and experience with fellow stakeholders, share common challenges and issues in lobbying in the EU" said Yauheniya Dzemianchuk, EU Advocacy Executive at EURACTIV.

For the 10th Anniversary of Yellow Academy, EurActiv is thrilled to collaborate with the following consultancies: acumen public affairs, Hill+Knowlton Strategies, FleishmanHillard, Kellen, Logos, and RedFlag.
