EurActiv’s Yellow Academy celebrates its 7th anniversary!
Brussels, 28 October 2016
Since 1999, EurActiv has aimed to give a voice to all EU stakeholders, enabling them to be seen as an integral part of the EU policymaking process. “EurActiv helps numerous EU federations, NGOs, and Unions to make their opinions more visible to the EU affairs market and to build their reputation”, said Dan Luca, Senior Director at EurActiv.
In order to better understand EU communications trends we established a “Knowledge Programme” in 2011, now known as ‘Yellow Academy’. After seven successful years, we are happy to be stepping things up with a new identity for our Yellow Academy.
“2016 was a great year. Our six seminars presented by senior consultants from leading consultancies in EU affairs, hosted more than 100 ‘learners’, from 50 EU federations or NGOs”, stated Kristina Lecloux, Senior Account Manager at EurActiv. “The programme is a good opportunity to learn from experts, exchange with fellow stakeholders and share common challenges and issues in EU Communications and Lobbying”, she continued.
Session ‘tutors’ are selected from some of the best consultancies in Brussels, promoting exciting interactions. The idea behind the latter, she explains, is to “focus on the latest trends, illustrating them with very concrete examples in order to generate exchanges between participants and experts”.
EurActiv is happy to team up with the following consultancies next year: acumen public affairs, Hill+Knowlton Strategies, FleishmanHillard, FTI Consulting, APCO Worldwide, Instinctif Partners, Red Flag and Kellen.
