(BRUSSELS, 19 November 2019) The European Association for the Streamlining of Energy Exchange - issues today CBP 2019-001/01 on Agreement Update and Certificate Exchange.
This Common Business Practice, prepared by the Technology Standard Working Group specifies the method of agreement update messages and of transmitting certificates electronically using AS4. It details the technology to be used and the applicable communication details.
The adoption of this Common Business Practice means that EASEE-gas members will use the proposed standard way of setting up agreements and change certificates using AS4.
The EASEE-gas Technology Standard Working Group recommends to implement this CBP before the start of the next EASEE-gas certificate migration project that will take place in the third quarter of 2020. The expiration date of the certificates released in 2018 is September 2021 and the working group's objective is to avoid organising a MoC in 2021 for AS4.
The TSWG will closely monitor the progress of the implementation.
The CBP and its explanatory notes are available in the CBP section of the website.
This press release is available in the news section of the website.
