EurActiv ‘Special Week’ coverage on the public hearings of the Barroso II Commission

EurActiv, the independent media portal specialised in EU policies, will be running special coverage on the hearings of the commissioners who were officially appointed to the Barroso II Commission in December.

The special coverage will take place from 11-19 January, when all 27 commissioners-designate will be grilled by EU lawmakers in their respective parliamentary committees.

Thanks to its team of specialised journalists covering specific policy areas, EurActiv will bring in-depth coverage of all the main commissioners appearing before the Parliament and their related portfolios: foreign affairs, enlargement, internal market, digital agenda, climate change, environment, energy, innovation, transport, regional policy, etc.

The special coverage will centre on the main policy orientations of the new Commission, going beyond the personal profiles of the commissioners.
