CELMA, the Federation of National Manufacturers Associations for Luminaires and Electrotechnical Components for Luminaires in the European Union, is very happy to announce that the CELMA Register, a tool to promote European producers committed to provide good quality lighting products and practice, has been adopted by several major European lighting companies.
WHAT IS THE CELMA REGISTER?
The CELMA Register is a voluntary scheme for European producers that responds to the desire of CELMA members to make an impact on the European market by promoting
fair and sustainable standards for good quality lighting products and practice.
Producers taking part are CELMA Registered Companies and become recognised as such in the market place.
The CELMA Register is a scheme not related to product but to producers companies.
The core of the system is the “CELMA Code of Conduct” whose requirements are going
beyond of the requirements of the ENEC Mark or ISO 9000.
The scheme is owned and managed by CELMA without any intervention of external bodies
