The party aims to re-entering Bavaria's parliament in 2018

More than 500 members of EFA member Bayern Partei gathered yesterday in Munich's  "HofBräukeller" to celebrate the 70 years strive for independence of the party. Not coincidentally on the German national day, the EFA member party from Bavaria confirmed its trend upwards, aiming to enter the Landtag again in the 2018 elections.

Only during the 24h visit of EFA in Bavaria more than 10 new members joined the party that now has its own group in the Munich city council, for the first time since the 1960s.

The President of the EFA group in the European Parliament Josep Maria Terricabras explained in his keynote speech, focusin on the Catalan independence process, that Catalonia has two options at the end of the independence roadmap next year: Either a referendum with the consent of Mardid or a referendum without it.

EFA Vice-President Natalia Pinkowska (RAS,Silesia) stressed out that as Silesian autonomist, she fully understands that Bavarians wish to go even further and seek independence.

In his fraternal greeting EFA Director Günther Dauwen congratulated the Party for its track record but also with its new ambitions to re-enter the Bavarian parliament.

Bayernpartei President Florian Weber received an overwhelming applause when he claimed that Europe of the Regions was and will remain a  key point in the programme of both Bayernpartei and EFA.
