ACCA’s (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) digital transformation project sees another key launch with a new digital platform for its students and affiliates called myACCA.

Like the hub for its members, this platform offers a new and personalised way of working with the global professional body. Students and affiliates will be able to access all their relevant information in one place – from booking exams, to exam technique and career advice.

Speaking of this new development, Mhairi Wilson, ACCA’s digital transformation director, says: ‘Just like the member’s platform, myACCA for students and affiliates has been user-tested with 100 people to create a great user experience. Their feedback has helped us to design an intuitive site, easy to navigate and use across many platforms. When students and affiliates log into the new portal, they’ll see a clear dashboard that displays notifications, making it easier for them to track their progress to become ACCA members.

‘This development is all about the investment and innovations we are continuing to make for the benefit of our future members – from the way we deliver their exams using computers to the content of the exams they take. I’m delighted to say that feedback from students we tested this with has been positive – we could not have created this without their input and feedback. We see myACCA as just the start of a new digital experience for our members and future members with further improvements planned.’

Testers’ feedback says:

·         Shija Seirah, an ACCA Affiliate from India: ‘The new site is very easy to use. An amazing user interface which is functional and organised. I was able to quickly access required information and I could see my progress in just a click.’

·         Esosa Omorenuwa, an affiliate from Nigeria: ‘I think the new myACCA site is much more user friendly …It was much easier to complete various tasks on the new site such as updating my details and printing certificates. The dashboard contained a lot of tips and articles on completing the ethics and professional skills module, and the Practical Experience Requirements PER which is exactly the stage I’m in my ACCA journey as an affiliate. If I had to describe the experience in one word, I would say it’s intuitive’.

·         Zoe-Anne Haigh from USA: ‘It’s much easier having all the main items I normally refer to on the dashboard. Having all the main relevant items on one page is better, and the design and graphics make it a lot easier to see anything that needs attention. A huge improvement.’

·         Sumaila Khatri from Pakistan adds: ‘The new website is very user friendly. Not complicated at all. It’s well organised and not too crowded, with a clear overview of where I stand and how much needs to be worked towards. I personally found the new site easier and more organised compared to the previous one.
