S&D Euro MPs secure new deal to strengthen the protection of Europeans’ health in the workplace

Today, negotiators of the European Parliament, the Commission and the EU member states reached an agreement to protect Europeans from the exposure to an additional five carcinogenic or mutagenic substances in the workplace.

Shortlist Announced for European Association Awards - Winners to be revealed in March

Notaries of Europe welcome application of European Regulations on Matrimonial Property Regimes and Registered Partnerships

European Regulations 2016/1103 on matrimonial property regimes and 2016/1104 on the property consequences of registered partnerships are now applicable as part of an enhanced cooperation procedure currently involving 18 Member States: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.

Brussels, 23 January 2019 - Leading MEP Cristian-Silviu Bușoi (EPP, Romania), with the support of the Polish-Romanian Chamber of Commerce (The Chamber), organised and led a European Parliament gathering of Eastern European gambling regulators (Poland, Czech Republic and Romania) and various external stakeholders to discuss the nature of existing regulatory frameworks in Eastern Europe and their associated challenges.
