European postal operators understand the global challenges posed by the pandemic and are impacted by the measures in place to contain the virus. The European industry associations representing the non-road mobile machinery sector call on the EU to adopt swift measures in response to disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Immediate action by the EU Commission is needed to ensure that Covid-19 is considered a force majeure, to eliminate penalties for companies that have to suspend work; and to increase European funds to cover the increased costs of the work.
