European Ideas Forum (EIF), the Martens Centre flagship event, returns on 29-30 November featuring a live audience for the first time since 2019. This year’s edition titled "Reshaping Europe Through Crises", brings together policymakers, industry leaders and academics, focusing on the most pressing EU challenges. 

The Forum has been awarded the European Excellence Award in the category «Best political workshop or congress» in 2017. Previous Forums have been successfully held in Brussels, Bratislava, Helsinki, Dublin, London, Madrid, Paris, and Nicosia.

What you can expect at this year’s EIF:

• Presentation of the Forum by Mikuláš Dzurinda, President, Martens Centre
• Opening Remarks by Roberta Metsola, President, European Parliament 
• An exclusive interview with Klaus Welle, Secretary-General, European Parliament
• 4 expert panel discussions featuring high-level speakers and interviews with business leaders
• Closing Remarks by Antonio López-Istúriz White, MEP, EPP Group, Secretary-Treasurer, Martens Centre 

Over two days of content-rich debates, the European Ideas Forum provides a preeminent platform for discussion for all those interested in the most salient economic and political issues facing Europe. 

The event will take place at Claridge Events, Chaussée de Louvain 24B, 1210 Brussels, with limited spaces for joining in person. It will also be live-streamed on martenscentre.eu and on our YouTube channel.
