ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) announces the September 2017 exam sitting pass rates.

The ACCA Qualification rigorously tests the skills, abilities and competencies demanded by a modern day accountant, preparing students for a rewarding career as qualified and ethical finance professionals.

Over 101,365 students around the world entered the September 2017 sitting, which saw a total of 130,824 exams taken and 4,325 students complete their final exams on the path to becoming ACCA members. Commenting on the latest exam results, ACCA’s Alan Hatfield, executive director - strategy and development said:

‘We’re delighted with the pass results for the September 2017 exam session. Our session-led computer-based exams (CBE) continue to roll out globally with much success, now being available in 36 countries around the world.  We have also worked closely with tutors at approved learning providers in several countries, to improve teaching towards the innovative assessments, which has positively affected results.

‘Unsurprisingly, students that attend our approved learning providers continue to get stronger pass rates; a credit to our learning providers who are supporting all of the qualification transformations. Transformations include opportunities to sit exams four times a year and to demonstrate workplace skills in the exams, allowing students to become more effective accountants in the workplace.’

Our next innovation in delivering ACCA Qualification – the Future is the launch, on 31 October 2017, of the new Ethics and Professional Skills module.  Building on our already strong foundation, ACCA is the first professional body worldwide to introduce such an innovative training module into an accountancy qualification to meet the needs of employers
