CONFERENCE - “SHAPING THE FUTURE OF NEW MOBILITY”
Section
Event Description
We’re back! The event initially planned for May 2020 will take place as early as next month!
The emergence of new mobility patterns and models (autonomous, connected, sustainable, soft and urban mobility…) represents a major challenge but also significant opportunities for the road infrastructure sector.
Within this framework, the ERF (European Union Road Federation), FIEC (European Construction Industry Federation), the French Road Federation (Routes de France), the French Federation for Public Works (FNTP) and the Confederation of International Contractors' Associations (CICA) initiated in March 2019 an international benchmark study to identify the impact of the new mobility revolution and how road infrastructure should address it. This study was released on 8th September 2020 and can be found here.
Final outputs of the study will be unveiled and debated during the conference hosted by MEP Dominique Riquet (Committee on Transport and Tourism). The event will bring together stakeholders from different sectors to break down existing silos and promote a constructive dialogue for the benefit of all road users, and thus shape the future of the road infrastructure.
Registrations and the complete agenda will be available soon!
