Eurometaux is pleased to announce the appointment of three new staff members:

Ms. Sarah Romy Edwards will take up the new position of Communication Manager as of 1st March 2012 (E-mail: edwards@eurometaux.be).

Among others, she holds a Master’s degree in Communication Science. Her previous positions include Think-Tank Administrator at the European Space Agency, Online Communication Manager with Survey Sampling International LLC, and Science Editor with the European Association of Radiologists, as well as freelance work as Managing Editor & Interviewer for MIM and HQ Magazine EMEA & Asia-Pacific respectively (pan-European assignments).

Ms. Elena Vyboldina will be Manager for Trade & Economy, also starting on 1st March 2012 (E-mail: vyboldina@eurometaux.be).

She has worked respectively for a Brussels-based law firm, for the European Commission, and for CEFIC. Her work experience is mainly focused on International Trade-related matters and on REACH- & Energy-related issues. She holds a degree in Law, a degree in Economics, and a Masters degree in International Law & Economics, specializing in International Trade.

Ms. Inneke Claes (E-mail: claes@eurometaux.be) will take up the post of EHS Manager (Environmental Manager) on 1st May 2012, replacing Mr. Joeri Leenaers, who will leave Eurometaux on 1st April 2012.

She has a PhD in Physics, and has worked as a civil servant at the Flemish Environment Agency and as Environment Manager at the Confederation of European Paper Industries. Her previous position was as Issues Manager at CEMBUREAU, working on Health & Safety, REACH and waste-related issues.

We are convinced that the contribution of these 3 new Eurometaux staff members will further extend and reinforce the services of Eurometaux for its membership and contacts/relations with the media and EU agencies.
