European Paper Week: New look, new location

This year’s European Paper Week will take as its theme ‘Building on paper’s values’. It will take place in the beautifully renovated Marivaux Hotel and Conference Centre in the heart of Europe - Brussels. The conference centre incorporates an old cinema complex and these elegant historical surroundings will host the CEPI Annual Dinner as well as seminars and many other industry sector meetings. EU high-level group’s recommendations on the competitiveness of the agro-food industry must be followed by concrete action

The EU’s high-level group on the competitiveness of the agro-food industry, which meets under the chairmanship of Commission Vice-President Günter Verheugen, today agreed on a number of recommendations to increase the competitiveness of the European food chain. Copa-Cogeca
strongly support these efforts, which must now be followed by concrete action.
