Brussels, 3 September 2010. Yvo de Boer, former Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, will give the opening keynote address at a seminar on the Water Footprint and Water Stewardship, co-organized by the European Water Partnership (EWP) on 9 September in Brussels. The seminar, which is intended for journalists only, will outline the effects of growing water shortages and water consumption and will present a number of innovative solutions:
