Vodafone Foundation, AGE Platform Europe and the European Disability Forum invite you to join the Smart Accessibility Awards Night on 17 December 2012 in Brussels. Viviane Reding, Vice-President of the European Commission responsible for Justice, Fundamental Rights and Citizenship will deliver the keynote speech.

 

Earlier this year, the three partners launched the second edition of a unique competition challenging developers to design mobile applications which empower ageing people and people with disabilities. Join them on the 17th of December to discover the four winning applications, which will be selected by an expert jury and will share the competition prize. They shall cover the following categories: Social participation, Independent living, Mobility and Wellbeing.

 

 

The event will feature the following speakers:

Ioannis Vardakastanis, President EDF

Anne-Sophie Parent, Secretary General AGE Platform Europe

Matthew Kirk, Member of the Executive Committee, External Affairs Director, Vodafone Group
