Lise Fuhr starts her mandate as ETNO Director General

ETNO, representing Europe's main telecom operators, is pleased to announce that Lise Fuhr has started her mandate as Director General of the Association.

Following her appointment by the General Assembly last November, Ms. Fuhr is now in charge of leading the ETNO office and representing the Association in Brussels and worldwide.

Lise Fuhr said: “Behind every message, call and minute Europeans spend online, there is a web of sophisticated telecom networks and services. The on-going digital and telecommunication reform is, first and foremost, about people and the way they go about in life and business. 2016 is a unique year in which regulatory changes can empower telcos to deliver massive broadband deployment and state-of-the-art innovation. This is why I am proud to represent ETNO companies at such a crucial moment: with their history, footprint and expertise, they are the key partner in delivering the Digital Single Market objectives in a digital world."
