Shortlist Announced for European Association Awards - Winners to be revealed in March

Over 50 different European associations are represented at the third European Association Awards. The shortlist, spread across 15 different categories, was announced on the 21st of January.  Finalists include the European Chemical Industry Council (CEFIC), Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), Accountancy Europe, Home Appliance Europe (APPLiA) and SolarPower Europe. said the professional and trade associations comprising the shortlist were selected by the judges based on the remarkable creativity and impressive, quantifiable results that the entries detailed.

The European Association Awards recognise exceptional achievements and campaign excellence taking place throughout Europe, at both in-country and pan-EU levels, honouring those individuals and teams who work to ensure their members’ voices are heard. There are 15 award categories, including Best Lobbying or Advocacy Campaign; Best Association Website; Association Leadership Award; Best Digital Campaign; and Most Innovative Development by an Association. 
 
In recent weeks, a panel of 29 judges, representing Secretary Generals from leading European Associations, reviewed the dozens of entries received, it has been a difficult task for the judges, evaluating the top-quality entries and determining the shortlist. The winners will be announced at the European Association Awards ceremony will take place in Brussels at the Le Plaza Hotel on 28th March 2019.
