New Euro Treaty negotiations: Elmar Brok MEP to represent the European Parliament

EPP Group Member Elmar Brok MEP has been nominated as representative of the European Parliament in the negotiations for the new Euro Treaty agreed upon by 26 EU Heads of State and Government last week. He will work towards preserving the Community method, combining stability and growth.
Mr Brok said: "This is not only about the Euro, but about the future of our citizens in a world which is dramatically changing."
Elmar Brok has been representative of the European Parliament in all Treaty negotiations since the Maastricht Treaty.
The two other representative of the European Parliament are Roberto Gualtieri (S&D) and Guy Verhofstadt (ALDE).
