New Director General for the EFCC

We are pleased to announce Dr. Alberto Arnavas as new Director General of the European Federation of Construction Chemicals (EFCC) , effective January 1°, 2017.
He succeeds Mrs. Elisa Setien , who has been holding this position for the past eight years and successfully established the EFCC in Brussels.
Dr. Arnavas is coming from a 39 years career in Chemicals , worked since 1984 in the Construction Chemicals field , first for MAC , then Sandoz , SKW , Degussa and BASF Construction Chemicals , holding the positions of Managing Director Italy and Director Operations Europe until end of 2016. He brings a wealth of Construction Chemicals and European experience to this position.
At the same time, the EFCC is strenghtening its footprint by establishing the position of Technical Officer.
This new position is held since July 2016 by Mrs. Sophie Dikoundou. In this role she will represent the EFCC in several task groups and co-ordinate the activities of the EFCC Working Groups.
