Join NetZeroCities for the Mission in Progress: Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities Conference 2023 taking place in Brussels on June 27, 2023. Take advantage of this exclusive opportunity to explore progress on the EU Mission: Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities alongside Mission City mayors, political representatives and practitioners, as well as the European Commission and national authorities. 

The conference will convene at Maison de la Poste, Tour et Taxis, Brussels. On 27 June, the conference will begin with a keynote speech delivered by Marc Lemaître, Director-General DG Research and Innovation, European Commission. This will be followed by the following panel sessions:

  • Impulse Statements: Cities as Frontrunners of the Climate Transition
  • Climate-Neutral Cities by 2030: A Political Reality Check
  • The European Green Deal at Local Level: Challenges and Co-benefits

After lunch, the afternoon will split into two tracks, one dedicated to politicians and one tailored to city practitioners.
