Launch of the World Report on Disability at the European Parliament

On 7th December 2011 the World Report on Disability was presented and discussed at a launch event in the European Parliament. Member of the European Disability Forum: -CBM- co organised the event. CBM’s Lars Bosselmann highlighted the crucial role the EU can play in promoting the rights of persons with disabilities in international cooperation. EDF expressed his concern: "The current financial crisis has probably increased the data in Europe. 62% of persons with disabilities are among the poorest in Europe.”

- Tamar Manuelyan Atinc - Vice President for Human Development, World Bank

- Martin Krayer von Krauss - WHO, Project manager

- Lars Bosselmann - Advocacy Manager, CBM
